With your permission, the app collects precise GPS location data when you use the Map Screen feature to measure areas or distances on the map. This data is used solely to:
- Center the map on your current location
- Allow you to draw markers and measure land areas and distances
Location data is never stored, uploaded, or shared with any server. It is processed entirely on your device and discarded when you close the map screen.
1.2 Advertising Data
The app uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect certain device information (such as device ID, advertising ID, IP address, and app usage data) to serve relevant ads. For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
1.3 Internet & Map Tile Data
When you use the map feature, the app fetches map tile images from third-party tile servers (Google Maps, OpenStreetMap, Esri). These requests may expose your IP address to those providers. Please refer to their respective privacy policies:

The app stores the following data locally on your device only:
- Heron's Formula calculation history
- Onboarding completion status
- App preferences
We do not maintain servers, databases, or any cloud storage. Your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly share it (e.g., via the Share App feature).
5. Permissions
The app requires the following permissions:
- INTERNET - Required for ads, map tiles, and AI features
- ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION - Required for GPS map features
- ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION - Required for approximate location on maps
You can revoke location permissions at any time through your device settings. The app will still function without location access, but the "center on my location" map feature will be unavailable.
6. Children's Privacy
The app is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will promptly delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.
